I'm happy to introduce Sasquatch & Sasquatch, an imagined organisation of figurative private investigators, 'Scrutineers of the most obtuse metaphors and perplexing romantic anomalies'. In their Document of Inquiry these private inspectors turn their attention to a sabotaged heart, attempting to identify a likely culprit. This heart appears in the form of some extraordinarily confused metaphorical pop-culture machinery.
This piece shows the Document of Inquiry written by Sasquatch & Sasquatch, documenting the evidence at the scene, their notes and suppositions, and their ultimate conclusion. It is drawn in pen and ink and coloured digitally, and is a vague throwback to highly-decorative, Morris-esque Victorian era documentation.
