HYPERBOLOID - a DIY foam cutter
For the course Designtools we had to design and make a hot wire foam cutter that could cut several pre-programmed cilindrical shapes using only mechanical components. After a lot of testing and retesting we proudly present to you "Hyperboloid" a foam cutter than can cut no less than 27 different cilindrical shapes!
this project was a cooperation between myself, Loes Verheyen and Sanne Cools.
