A collection of objects commemorating art work taken away from Poland during World War II. The series was designed for the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in order to spread the knowledge of their recuperation process.
It was not only the art works themselves, but also the very idea of their absence, loss and recovery which inspired our project in the first place. Our goal was both to educate and inform about the problem, as well as to invite the users of the gadgets to interaction and symbolical involvement in the searching process.
The collection consists of 5 objects made of eco friendly materials.
Art director, Concept, Graphic design: Zupagrafika
Collaboration, Texts: Maciej Frąckowiak
The project has won the first prize in the contest organized by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
