BETON magazine
Student project, 2011
An A3 publication about four Brutalist buildings around the London Southbank, BETON was created during my PgDip Design for Visual Communication course at LCC, for an assignment called ‘Structure and the City’.
For the cover and title page I created a custom display typeface to reflect the Brutalist architectural movement. It was spray painted on the cover wrap to provide a texture not unlike concrete. This booklet was hand-stitched.
