/ concept / I always liked newspapers. Not because of their content (who cares what newspaper have to say anyway), but because of their specific look and feel. There is something in deed special when you take a newspaper of the stand - the feel of the flat, precisely folded recycled paper, the pleasant sound that turning the large format pages makes, even the scent of freshly applied offset printing ink...
Several years ago I encountered a special type of newspaper - a free monthly magazine that can be picked up on different places around the city. The main difference, disregarding the content, was paper of higher quality (still it was recycled) and better print quality. The concept for creating this portfolio was derived from an idea of transferring all the properties of such newspaper that were considered positive into it - format, texture of recycled paper and high quality print.
If you found the above visually pleasing, show me some love and hit that appreciation button.
