My journey in creating these photographs involved an exploration into the various chapters of my memory. There is a reason dreams are often used as fuel to burn the inspiration fire, it channel’s an artist’s experiences, I feel, in a personal yet relatable way. Likewise, my artwork shows that living in my dream is to overcome it, by creating multiple meanings but uncontrollably finding myself in different places of my mind. Feelings are transformed in these dimensions and they represent my vague reality in an almost sacred and beautiful way. Presence is what is needed to become aware of beauty and sacredness in dreams, and collectively I want the pieces to strike a single chord by reminding the viewer of the connection we share with our reveries.
Photography is one way where I am able to experience the moment, familiarize myself into the surroundings, and re-connect with being present.
