This application consisted of several components on both the server and client-side. At its base lies a complex hand-digitized, cartographic-quality network dataset used with a custom door-to-door server-side routing service. The client was built in Flex to consume several map services and the routing service to help conference attendees find their way around the massive San Diego Convention Center (and associated hotels). 2010 Esri International User Conference Map
As my introduction to the ArcGIS platform (and Adobe Flex) I was tasked with building a routing and mapping application for the 2010 Esri User Conference with the help of several cartographers (who designed and cached the basemaps) and a routing expert (who helped design the custom routing engine in ArcGIS Model Builder).
