“VN Codex”:
This interactive project was a piece of coursework within a module for my Masters.
The brief: “You are a member of the Variance Network, a secret society based in Edinburgh dedicated to hybridity and augmentation. The Network’s members (Networkers or ‘Disciphles’) have each been tasked with producing a section of the VN (pronounced ‘Venn’) Codex, an occult, visually enigmatic and interactive cipherstruct that is a rhizomatic archive of designs and theories for mesh-media architexts and anarchetypes.”
The project was designed with focuses on design, abstraction, animation, visualisation, navigation
and combined the use of a set of graphics that I designed. The work encourages interaction, exploration and a deep connection between the user and content.
