I recently completed this menu for one of my favorite downtown dessert spots. The client had expanded their savory menu over the summer, and wanted an insert that complimented their existing trifold menu, and could also be given out separately.
The main design challenge was that the menus had to be printed in the shop by employees. The file had to be easily opened, able to be printed with default settings, then cut with a small paper trimmer.
I went with a simple, playful design that echoed the shop's interior and packaging, using the client's existing logo and brand colors. The printed copy requires only two cuts by employees, using the diagonal rose logo as a guideline.
