Parenting Magazine - iPad Edition
The iPad Edition of Parenting Magazine was #11 in digital subscriptions as of May 2013 when I was responsible for designing and producing all the exclusive interactive content that went into the iPad Edition.
The iPad Edition of Parenting Magazine featured HTML5 animations, slideshows, scrolling content, web content, embedded video and audio. All designed and produced with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Edge Animate, and Bonnier's propietary Bonnier Reader tools. I can also reproduce all the interactivity in Adobe DPS.
I used QuickTime Pro and Bonnier's internal test iPad app to record a digital walk-through of the June 2013 issue of Parenting Magazine iPad Edition. This allows you to see the mouse move around and "tap" on the interactive content. It's a much better experience than seeing the content move on its own and you can visualize what the reader is tapping.
