Part of Titanic Exhibition Project.
On 14 April 1912, RMS Titanic hit an iceberg on her maiden voyage, and sank after 2 hours 40 minutes. 1,517 people died. And now, 100 years have passed since that time.
The design is a concept for a theoretical temporary exhibition hold at British Museum, focus on the Titanic itself and its maiden voyage.
The posters used the basic colors and graphic elements from the information design, combine with famous people and their famous quote about Titanic, which are quiet ironic.
Blue: The photo of Titanic and the word ‘UNSINKABLE‘
Black: The photo of Captain Smith, who was the captain of Titanic, and his famous quote:’I cannot imagine any condition which would cause a ship to founder.’
Red: The photo of John B. Thayer, the survivor of Titanic.
The timeline on the ground guide the audience during the exhibition.
