Mexican women have always been fundamental in the preservation of traditional gastronomy, transmitting their secrets and recipes from generation to generation. This project interprets the ambiguity of women’s leadership as an incoherence between the roll they actually perform and the one that has been given to them. Women are essential but have been perceived as an accessory.

Adela considers important aspects of the culinary arts, such as portions and timing. It specially represents the subtleness and sobriety of Mexican women and their dance, silhouette, and essence.
