French curve and typographic ruler
Une fois encore, il s’agissait de montrer les possibilités offertes par l’imprimante Agfa Anapurna et la table de découpe Esko Kongsberg, récemment acquises par le Cepegra. Au final, cela donne un version améliorée du traditionnel pistolet du graphiste, imprimée en UV sur plexi et découpée à l’aide fraiseuse de l’Esko.
Même outil pour fraiser le MDF noir qui accueille le pistolet alors que l’emballage lui-même est imprimé en offset – noir, gris et une encre métallique – et découpé à l’aide du couteau tangentiel de la table de découpe.
Once again, the purpose was to show the possibilities offered by the Agfa Anapurna large format printer and the Esko Kongsberg cutting table, both recently bought by Cepegra. In the end, this gives an improved version of the traditional graphic designer's French curve, printed in UV on plexi and cut using the Esko milling machine. Same tool for milling the black MDF that houses the object while the packaging itself is offset printed – black, gray and a one metallic ink – and cut using the tangential knife of the cutting table.
