This was a collaborative project that my friend and colleague, Sanja Bulat and i did for Bastino, a cafe & restaurant with an Italian vibe, which is here in Belgrade.
The goal was to construct a backdrop with an Italian theme, concealing the old run down wall of a quite communist building.
The space in front of the new facade would be used by stand up comedians and musicians.
The problem was that we couldn't demolish anything or cover the top right window, because it belonged to the library which was on the second floor ( the big windows with the cyrillic letters also belonged to the library).

So we built the whole facade on top of the old wall incorporating the small library window into our new solution.
