a relação entre o corpo da artista, criada em uma cidade grande como são paulo (brasil), e un rio en guimarães pode ser muito maior que o que se imagina.

a artista partirá em direção ao rio de couros com um caderno de notas e recipientes. o rio de couros cruza o centro da cidade, agora quase todo coberto, mas nos deixa a glória de encontrar-lo de quando em quando ali, aberto, exposto. soando seu movimento entre quedas e bloqueios. o som de água em queda. constante, rítmico, chiado. experiência que a artista não tem na sua vida. os rios na sua cidade, quando não estão completamente cobertos por ruas e avenidas, debaixo da terra, estão contaminados de tal forma que são apenas esgoto. mas não o rio de couros. ele sobrevive à mania humana de cobrir completamente os rios, mesmo que ele mesmo tenha sofrido já muitas dessas investidas.

e mais que o rio, as pessoas, os vimaranenses. e com eles, a cortesia, a gentileza, o carinho, o amor. essas coisas tão raras na cidade de onde vem a artista. e mais que o rio, as pessoas: propondo conversas com os locais, a artista garimpa histórias relacionadas ao rio. e mais que o rio, as pessoas: a partir das conversas, a artista pede um pouco de água.

com o que foi coletado, com o resultado do garimpo, a artista apresenta uma ação. cria um corpo híbrido de todas as pessoas, objetos e águas coletados. um corpo híbrido a partir de seu próprio corpo.

é previsto ainda uma exposição (ainda sem data definida). estarão ali as notas, o som do rio, as histórias, a água coletada e fotos / vídeo da ação apresentada, além da video performance.

the relation between the body of the artist, created in a big city like são paulo (brasil), and a river in guimarães can be much bigger that one can imagine.

the artist will leave towards the river de couros with a notebook and containers. the river de couros crosses the downtown, now almost covered, but let to us the glory of finding it from time to time there, open, exposed. sounding it's movement between falls and blocks. the sound of falling water. constant, rhythmic, wheezing. experience that the artist hasn't in her life. the rivers in her city, when they are not completely covered by streets and avenues, under the earth, are so contaminated that nowadays they are just sewage. but not the river de couros. it survives the human ideal of completely cover all the rivers, even if it has already suffered many of these attacks.

and more than the river, the people, the vimaranenses. and with them, courtesy, kindness, affection, love. these things so rare in the city whence comes the artist. and more than the river, the people: proposing conversations with the locals, the artist prospects stories related to the river. and more than the river, the people: during the conversations, the artist asks for some water.

with what has been collected, with the outcome of prospecting, the artist presents an action. she creates an hybrid body of all persons, objects and collected water. a hybrid body made from her own body.
