Concept_How to connect old with new part of the city?
The term spaces  more abstract in it self than the term place, whose usage at least refers to an event (which has taken place), a myth (said to have taken place) or a history (high places). The space could be the place what the word becomes when it is spoken, grasped in the ambiguity of being accomplished, changed into a term stemming from multiple conventions, uttered as the act of one present, and modified by the transformations resulting from successive influences... Belgrade is a city that has been destroyed several timesin the last hundred years, rebuilt as the situation and finances allowed, abandoned but most of all colonized, both from Serbia and the neighboring countries. Speaking freely the migrations originally began because of the wars in the former Yugoslavia, but also because of the development of economy, industry, and the city in general. When we look back, the growth of the population throughout the years is not large but it is constant. Bombed objects, to some are cultural monuments, features of an age, reminders, history, to the other in turn nothing but ruins, a mockery of the city, a big nothing, non-place. One thing is for sure, all these facilities were built with one purpose, while in time they were awarded another, however, they are a part of the city, its history and culture, and the culture and history cannot be erased. The question is how to use them? How to connect all the problems? How to assign a purpose? Building adaptive reuse is increasingly being applied as a solution to urban renewal where existing facilities have become obsolete but where significant physical life remains embedded in their structure and materials and/or where heritage and cultural values deserve to be protected. Old buildings often outlive their original purposes. Adaptive reuse, or re-use, is a process that adapts buildings for new uses while retaining their historic features. These buildings  resistance  within the city, and resistance proposals anchored on them, offer new possibilities to buildings and urban areas which cannot be simply removed and substitutedin the creative finance processes applied to the urban.
