Inspiration
War Museum was a battle defend field of British army aimed to against Japanese army during 1930s.
It located in Bukit Batu Maung with British, Sikh and Malay soliders live and work together.
After that ,Japanese army succesful invaded Bukit Maung from inland cause they lost the defend line and lost lots of life.more
After I visited the place and I read some articles about the War Museum history.
The story of it inspired me to design this project in order to promoteWar Museum.
The environent of that place really made ke virtually experinece the war.
Besides,I found that a lot of building ,weapon, equipment, ammunition and
the way how British army build their defend system during that time.
War Museum Magazine Styling
The design was focused on horror feeling after I explored the place,
I want reader to feel the spooky environment and feeling after read the magazine.
So, I design and complie lots of texure to design the look of magazine and it is hard, rough and vintage style
because I want to bring back the history feeling.
Audiences can noticed that no people or a person in my desing piece except dogs,
This is becuause dog can be metaphored as the guardian of the dead.
As the time go, a lot of "dead" gathered inside the War Museum and so will happen supernatural phenomenon sometime.
