Typography inspired tiling system.

The grid upon which the tiles were built was formed by the overlapping of angular monospaced letters, uppercase with uppercase, lowercase with lowercase. The project embraces the idea that restrictions, in this case, a grid, provides freedom through rigidity. The act of overcoming and accepting things that cannot be changed, discovering potential rather than limitation. It involves book design as a visual representation of this principle through the exploration of grid and tile variations and pattern design.
