I am thrilled to present my latest project: a complete menu redesign for Sake Sushi and Hibachi, a distinguished Japanese steakhouse in South Carolina. Tasked with revamping their old menus, I embraced the challenge of infusing fresh design elements while honoring the restaurant's authentic Japanese aesthetic. My approach centered on a minimalist color palette of black, white, grey, and the restaurant’s signature red, creating a modern yet timeless look.
The new design features hand-drawn illustrations of key menu items, including sushi, noodles, seafood, and miso soup, adding a personalized touch that celebrates the restaurant's offerings. By selecting an A3 landscape size, I ensured that the menu is both visually appealing and practical. The larger format accommodates the extensive selection of dishes, making it easy for diners to browse and choose their favorites.
This project was a delightful journey of creativity and precision, resulting in a menu that not only enhances the dining experience but also reflects the vibrant spirit of Sake Sushi and Hibachi. I am excited to share this work and look forward to your thoughts and feedback.
