I have been wanting to work on a double exposure project for some time now and I took my friends move to the big city and her blog as my inspiration. She was gracious enough to help me with it as soon as I shared my vision with her.

We setup a time to get together in my studio to do the head shots. From there I did my basic edits, then proceeded onto the fun stuff. Being a graphic designer for over a decade it never bothered me to use stock photography until I got into photography myself. As much as I would of loved to use my own image of NYC there was no was I was going to get it anytime soon. So I did some research and came across this free stock photography site for the NYC image, but used my own for PHX. I viewed quite a few tutorials on double exposure on YouTube finding different ways other people had done it to come up with my own style.

I wanted to try a different background  with the focus on the NYC double exposure. So I created my own bokeh brush , layered, blurred and adjusted the opacities to give it some depth.
