Universal Designs Inspired by Banaras (Varanasi)

Title: Universal Designs Inspired by Banaras (Varanasi)
Description:

I done this work in 3rd year of my Bachelor course BFA in Applied Arts.
And, this my collection of universal designs, where the rich cultural heritage of Banaras meets the simplicity and elegance of basic geometric forms. In this series, I have used basic geometric shapes—triangles, circles, and squares—to craft a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. Each design is imbued with elements that resonate with the essence of Banaras, capturing its timeless beauty and vibrant spirit.
Concept:

Geometric Harmony: By using basic geometric forms, I’ve aimed to create designs that are not only visually appealing but also universally relatable. Triangles, circles, and squares serve as the building blocks, symbolizing balance, unity, and structure.

Banaras Elements: Each design incorporates distinctive elements from Banaras, such as the iconic ghats, Ganga River, Sadhu Baba, Cow, Betel, Naav, Ganga Aarti, & etc. These elements are seamlessly integrated into the geometric shapes, adding depth and cultural significance to the artwork.

Cultural Fusion: This collection is a tribute to the fusion of heritage and contemporary design. It’s an exploration of how age-old traditions can coexist and flourish within modern aesthetics, creating pieces that are both timeless and contemporary.
Thank You
