EDGE is a typeface designed in response to a brief set by Dalton Maag.

The typeface is inspired by Art Deco architecture. It’s a tall, high contrast, squared sans display face. It comes in two weights, Light & Regular. Modulated using strong vertical emphasis to create a repetitive rhythm of structure and strength.

Inspired by the Liverpool Littlewoods Building on Edge Lane. Left empty for over 20 years, Littlewoods is now transforming into a new TV and film studio. Liverpool is the second most filmed city in the UK after London. Blending tradition with innovation, paying homage to the city’s heritage while embracing its exciting future.
