The logo is made for a jewelry store in America, which makes handcrafted jewelries of semiprecious stones and metals. The name is "Paarongama", which means efficient or self-dependent lady. 

Below are the two options I made.

Selected one. Here I've tried to fuse the popular Indian motif "Paisley" and handwritten lowercase cursive 'p'. Detailed with motifs and patterns inspired by the jewelries. Those two mandalas connecting with eachother represents the fusion of Indo-Western culture.

Here I've modified the letter 'r' to showcase the flight and freedom of the lady.
