Statement of intent
It is my intension to produce six images from the nature / wildlife genre to give my local Garden Centre a helping hand with the sale of the new season’s Alpine plants and Garden Plants. The images are designed to be used in publicity material and local onsite boards.
It is my intension to capture the delicate of the plants to show a more detailed view to give the customer an insight into the delicate nature and shapes, colours, contours, and totally personal identification of each bloom.
The images will be shoot on a stage with a naturally balanced lighting system, using either an 80mm Fuji Macro lens on a Fujifilm X-H2 or A Nikon 7000 with a Sigma 105mm macro lens. Each will give that close up and exceptionally detailed view of the natural bloom at a magnification that will show just how beautiful and individual each plant bloom is. I must admit that I do enjoy using the stage and gantry lighting system I have, yes, it’s a palaver to build up and take down, but when its up and I start playing with the plants, pieces of jewellery, small pieces that friends ask me to photograph. It just gives me that real buzz of being totally in control. Just to be able to get so close to the bloom and see its real detail and individuality and beauty just is so magical. As stated, the primary intension is to have the images used both in local advertising on display boards and brochures, also in the local newspaper and magazine, to publicise the new season of alpines and garden plants. The second intension is to have a display wall with the images and the plants located at the entrance display table of the Garden Centre, this will give the New Seasonal Plants the best direct viewing chance to the customer base.
This statement is intended to be read and displayed at the editing/viewing session by the client and as a by line on the Entrance Display Table. This will Identify each plant by type, category, and planting advice, and also give assistance to the customer to find each bloom.
