Devil's Lake State Park

Amy and I took the three hour trek up to Devil's Lake State Park in Baraboo, Wisconsin, for a day of hiking and enjoying the outdoors. Here is a sample of our endless miles of hiking up and down the one big hill we could find close to Illinois.

All of these photos were taken with an iPhone 5. I was too scared to take my Canon. All of them were edited with a combination of Lightroom Mobile for iPad and Lightroom 5.6.
As we first got up to the top of the "Potholes" trail, a beautiful peek through to the lake. I added a lot of clarity and contrast to this in LR Mobile.
This was again with a ton of saturation, clarity, and contrast added. I love how the wood looks here. The one downside of the iPhone 5 camera is that it tends to overexpose the whites.
This is actually using the panarama on the iPhone. An amazing rock structure. I have no idea how they have stayed in place like that for years.
The last trail gave us a wooded trail straight up a hill. I saw the ray of sunlight through the trees and was able to capture that flare through the treeline.
