 Modifying Online banking System for Bank of America
The “as-is” system allows customers to manage their accounts and get financial insights using the current dashboard. The systems allow both online and mobile applications to access the resources Bank of America provides to its customers.
The current system uses real-time notifications for transactions and suspicious activities, a virtual assistant and an extensive help center to aid in customer service.
The current system provides many features that are helpful to their customers, but they fail to maintain a consistent experience across all platforms. There is a growing number of security breaches and fraudulent transactions that are occurring everyday.

"To Be System"

To overcome inconsistent user experience and security breaches, the proposed system will have an updated software system that allows for stronger security to prevent any data breaches, data to be backed up onto a server in case of an outage, and improved productivity of the system. This will enable the system to process requests faster and data storage to be increased. The to be system will in turn solve the problems with the current system.
