Alir Acham' is a Karbi word meaning colourful, brilliance, decoration, celebration. Alir Acham dives into colours and contrasts. It begins with celebrating colours, power, agility, transformation and faculty. It then diverges to the antithesis, recognizing the not-so-celebrated 'colours'– strangeness, homebodies, frailty, inertia, impurity and deficiencies– and celebrating the oddities.
