The exhibition is arranged chronologically, starting with the 1970 UK Women's Liberation Conference, and includes art forms ranging from painting, photography and textiles to film and performance, addressing classic topics such as the fight for reproductive rights, equal pay and racial equality, including the opening of the first women's refuge and the formation of the black arts movement in Britain.
