Showreel Opener - Coey Designs

As I transition into creating more 3D work, I wanted to showcase this evolution creatively and dynamically for my portfolio. The animation begins with a sketchbook, its pages filled with 2D drawings. Slowly, the word 'showreel' written on one of the pages transforms into vibrant 3D balloons, symbolizing my progression from 2D to 3D.
Below are a few test Renders I created while working out the technique. These were created in Cinema 4D using Cloth Dynamics and Vertex Maps. I used multiple Vertex Maps to control different attributes. One map Controls the wrinkles, another controls the expansion and the last the transparency/material. I then linked all 3 to a single field. The object models were downloaded from Turbosquid.
