One To Four Table
The brief was simple; to design and build a table based on whatever parameters we chose. The build could either be a scale model or a full-sized prototype. I therefore envisioned a complete system, because what makes a table a table is more than just a functional surface; seating and lighting make it a complete experience. This train of thought started shaping the concept, as did the idea of designing a system that would work in confined spaces. A Japanese-inspired low-set proportion was chosen to reduce visual clutter, with a clean Nordic-inspired balance of colors, finishes and materials.
