This NHS project is a project about encouraging young people from African black Caribbean backgrounds to donate blood. This is because the RO blood subtype is more common among people of black heritage, which can be used to treat disorders like sickle cell.
We focused on using the motif of time to persuade people to give blood and give time (life). I drew up iterations of sketches of a sand timer made up of the sickle cell shape. Finalised one and refined them in Illustrator. Chose the light blue one as I felt like it matched the NHS colour scheme more.
