100 days – 100 drawings

I really like to draw.

Problem was that I rarely got off my behind to actually do it, since I always had way too high demands on myself. And since the easiest way to avoid failure is to not even try, that's what I did.

One day though, I got real tired of myself and made a public promise that I would draw one drawing every day for a hundred days and post it on different social medias. I also requested, in the case that I would be getting lazy, that the people following my project would publicly shame me if I skipped a day.

Hundred days later, the results can be seen below. Some days I couldn't wait to draw, some days I couldn't have hated it more. Some days I had ideas for things to draw, other days it didn't even cross my mind until the middle of the night, drinking on some pub with my friends.
(You can probably guess which ones those are)

This project really made me get a better grasp of my creativity, and I've gone from trying to draw a serious thing every long while, to drawing a handful of ridiculous drawings as soon as I get the chance to.

It made drawing fun again.  It made expression fun again.

Thanks for all the kind words, for the inspiration, for the pep talks and for the public shaming.
