Haddaway Hears You
This is an automated, experimental Twitter account. On every 4th hour to the 44th minute Haddaway Hears You (HHY) searches through Twitter for tweets containing (real or accidental) quotes of Haddaway's hit 'What Is Love?' and sends a reply continuing the song's lyrics.

Objective:
Twitter is a bottomless pit of messages and statements most of which stay unheard (unread) of, however they are out in the public. HHY captures some of these messages and acknowledges their existence with an unsolicited but noncommercial reply.

The Tweep's reaction can be analyzed and put into 4 categories:
1) The Confused do not understand that their tweets can be read and replied to by anyone or Tweeps who do not understand the song reference.
2) The Serious & The Jokers reply with a serious answer, mistaking HHY for an actual reply, or Tweeps who reply assuming HHY is another Twitter troll.
3) The Appreciators understand the reference or enjoy the reply and react with replies, retweets and favorite.
4) The Ignorers. A vast amount of HHY replies stay ignored.

Based on the Tweep's replies, most do not understand that HHY is an automated account. And many Tweeps are surprised someone can eavesdrop on their conversation. This shows once again how users of such online services are unaware of the technology and the accessibility. We bask ourselves in security that simply is not there; There is no love given from the tech side. Baby, don't hurt me; Don't hurt me no more. What is love?
