APPLIQUÉ AND PATCH CRAFT OF THARAD GUJARAT
Our documentary, which focuses on patchwork and appliqué, covers the entire craft process as well as the surrounding environment, culture, and religion. We also feature artisan and other assistants.
Vishnu Suthar is an appliqué craft artisan from Tharad, a town in Banaskantha district in Gujarat. He employs 300 women artisans who produce a range of applique work products that are sold all over India.
