Portfolio Animation

I recently created a new portfolio using Framer and decided to create an animation to announce its launch on social media. My goal was to learn more about screen comping and importing mograph data from Cinema 4D to After Effects. I also wanted to experiment with Cinema 4D's new Cloth forces "Drag and Lift".

I aimed to recreate my workspace in 3D, featuring a desk with a phone. On the desk, I placed paper cards representing my past projects. These cards would then fly through the air, colliding with the phone. Upon impact, the phone's screen would reveal my completed portfolio.

I used a combination of keyframing and dynamics to animate the project cards. Keyframing gave me precise control over their direction, while cloth dynamics added organic motion and folds.

While there are areas I would refine if this were a client project, I'm continuously learning and improving. I used to get stuck aiming for perfection and never shared my work. Now, I'm committed to sharing my progress. Thank you for viewing! :)
