I worked with SOUND ᴹᴿ to design the UI and UX for their new app, which pairs with their latest line of speakers. They needed a quick and accurate design process to launch the app on time.
The initial brief outlined a basic player for music and audiobooks. However, during the research phase, involving internal stakeholders and users, the engineering team and I identified an opportunity to enhance the user experience. We introduced a feature enabling users to make announcements and send sounds to individual speakers directly from the app. Additionally, we integrated functionality for making phone calls.
The final product was a clean, user-friendly app allowing users to create accounts, manage devices, make announcements, and place phone calls effortlessly. We also added multi-account management to support family use, enabling specific devices to be controlled by multiple users.
