Book Illustrations
for a Printmaking Documentation
These illustrations are from the documentation of the printmaking course of my batch in college. A few of us came together to create the compilation while I conceptualized and created these drawings to fit the content and our works in it. The art style aimed for a raw, scratchy aesthetic similar to the way our carvings were on the zinc plate for the prints.
Process
The process for this was just taking tons of references from the photos we took during course as well as some things from internet and sketching the ideas down. Then it was the turn to slowly figure out the treatment to the linework and the rendering.
