Dysplasia (from ancient Greek δυσ- dys-, "bad" or "difficult" + πλάσις plasis, "formation") is an ambiguous term used inpathology to refer to an abnormality of development or an epithelial abnomaly of growth and differentiation (epithelial dysplasia).
