Hispanic dessert recipe cards

            Hispanic dessert recipe cards
The Project I decided to work on for my graphic design card was recipe cards. I wanted to have a project that combines both illustration and typography, while still having typography as the main focus. My goal was to do a project that enforces me to use new programs. So far in graphic design I've used a lot of adobe illustrator. I wanted to branch out more. This project uses InDesign and a little bit of photoshop. I also wanted to incorporate my culture in a way, so I decided to include desserts not only from my country but other countries from the Americas.
                                 Drafts
When creating the sketches I used Pinterest as a guide to see as to how recipe cards look like, among the options I would choses elements that I liked and include them in my sketches. I already knew what feeling i was going for, I just needed to know what details were going to showcase the idea. I wanted the recipe cards to have a comforting and simplistic look.
                            Final Project
Although I may have my ups and owns I am really happy with how the project turned out. This project showed me that I still have much to learn about but I can just practice more. One example is the text, I didn't know how to fix the whole text into the card but it was suggested to use GPT to shrink the text and that is what I did. Just learning a few tweaks to better my project.
