Red Ball Fight Animation
Anyone who has so much as even thought about learning animation has heard of the Red Ball animation assignment. it should come as no surprise that I was also tasked with one however our only requirements were to, "Make the all enter through the left side of the screen and exit out the right side of the screen." Logically it then follows that I should make a fight animation.
by combining an Autodesk Character Generator model and rig with a custom weapon model I made styled after the "Four Point Star" from Final Fantasy 7 I created my fighter. 
since I my character was using a weapon from final fantasy 7 I thought I might as well base their moves off the "limit break" attack associated with the character who uses it.
after I was happy with my animation I took it into after effects where I added sound effects, also from video games, into the animation to intensify the barrage of attacks.    
I plan to one day revisit this project and make it even more intense and over the top. Just as I will never know peace from the Red Bouncing Ball, neither will it from me.
