Project for Russo di Casandrino - Italian tannery:
Introduction: I was inspired by the famous architect Antonio Gaudí for this project. His surrealism and unique designs intrigued me, so I decided to create a collection reflecting his style. I focused on two of his most iconic works: La Sagrada Familia and Park Güell in Barcelona, Spain.
Exploration: I carefully studied Gaudí's architecture, capturing details and shapes from La Sagrada Familia. I simplified these elements into abstract graphics like triangles and stars to create prints and patterns. Additionally, I took inspiration from Park Güell's colorful mosaics, resulting in animal prints and floral pattern designs.
The collection, has nine leather designs, combining calf and goat leather. I used efficient techniques to ensure both aesthetic appeal and functionality. With prints and foils, these designs are suitable for shoes and bags, offering accessible and stylish options.
