Many betting companies have entered Brazil even though sports betting is not yet legal in the country.

In February 2023, Neo Games and Intralotu Brazil announced the launch of rotominas. It was the first regulated lottery and online sports betting solution for roteria minera, the official lottery in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais.

Rotterzi became Brazil's first state lottery to issue a sports betting bid. It did so in June 2023 when it awarded a five-year bid to Sao Paulo-based Lede Loto, which allows it to offer online sports betting in Brazil against federal regulations.

In September, sportsbook technology provider OpenBet teamed up with Play7.Bet to offer technology to bolster retail and online sports betting services in Brazil.

Sports sponsorship was also a big feature of Brazilian operators' plans. For example, Betfair, owned by Flutter Entertainment, partnered with Cruziro, a Brazilian soccer club.

The Blades and Paris Match have partnered with Atletico Clube Goianiens and Botafogo respectively to announce kit sponsorship from Brazilian football clubs. 바카라
