Hello everyone 🙋 I prepared the calculator in accordance with the retro concept. While I planned the fonts with quotes and separate fonts from the operation buttons, I created the colours in accordance with the whole retro concept.
According to the habits of right-handed users, I planned the operation buttons on the right and showed the operation result on the right side of the screen.
However, I also wanted to design a separate calculator for left-handed people. The objective was to enhance the user experience by relocating the operation buttons from the right to the left side, and by moving the result section to the left to align it with the buttons.
The objective was also to make the equals button more prominent by making it different in size. The 'delete' button was positioned in the upper right corner to allow users to delete their mistakes. However, the equals and delete buttons were indicated with a different colour because they have a different function than the other buttons.
