Pacific Trade is a growing company who handles large orders of custom fabric for resorts and other hospitality destinations. They were in need of a sturdy brand to represent them, specifically on the web. The other part of the project was to design a WordPress site that would show off their products while bringing the logo and spirit of the brand to life.

Based on my findings from initial design discovery meetings with the client, the style goals were to maintain a more traditional feel while having an overall modern sensibility. They also wanted a nautical concept for the logo mark as a nod to the origin of the Pacific Trade name.

The website design style goal and guiding UX principle I focused on was keeping the UI light in every possible way. I wanted the experience to feel inviting and accessible while showing off the quality of the fabric that they provide for their clientele at every opportunity.
