This series was created as a social commentary under the theme of 'Street Children'. The concept has emerged from my personal concern for society's lack thereof regarding the situation of street children. This issue no longer seems to be viewed as a societal flaw but is so commonplace or accepted that the children seem to go unnoticed as we pass them everyday. The concept of using strictly cardboard, references what many times is their only source of comfort and abode and the purpose behind the execution focuses on the idea of them simply blending or sinking into the background of their environment which i am stripping away to reveal their reality.
