CASACOR 2023 - FLORIANÓPOLIS - POETS OF THE FUTURE - DECA BY NÁTALIA XAVIER
Casacor is one of the most prestigious showcases in Brazil, and I'm very proud to have participated in this development for the third time in my career.
The project from Balneário Camboriú 2023 was a tribute to the Bauhaus School of Arts and the development and importance of the modernism. In this project, we continued to explore the Modernism, but as a tribute to the pioneers of the movement here in Brazil, such as Oscar Niemeyer, Lina Bo Bardi and Jorge Zalszupin.
Oscar had a different view of architecture, introducing in his work the curved elements and brutalism, and adapting the color schemes to the Brazilian woods, which are naturally reddish.
