On Saturday 13th September 2014, at 10:06pm, in recognition of the bridges 1006 meter span, a brilliant firework display was held at the Forth Road Bridge for its 50th birthday. The bridge is a vital link in Scotland between the North and South.  A new replacement bridge, the Queensferry Crossing, is under construction due to be complete in 2016.  This is what can be seen in the foreground of the images.

 

Images were shot on a Nikon D3300 with 55-300mm lens with a tripod.  Edited using VSCO film in Lightroom 5 and processing with Fuji Astia 100F emulation.
