Family Portraits
SMIRNOFF X KALA GHODA ARTS FESTIVAL
Smirnoff showcased a compelling exhibition at Kalanjee House, Colaba during the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival. Featuring the works of multiple photographers from the queer community, the exhibit focused on portraying the families of individuals from the hijra community.
Many members of the hijra community face abandonment by their biological families due to their identity. Through a series of family portraits, the exhibition aimed to shed light on the bonds and relationships the individuals have created outside their biological family.
