Freezing My Ass Off In Maine In February

No, really, it was that cold.

While I was out photographing industrial interiors and people for my client in Maine, I thought that in order to really understand just how cold it can get up there in almost Canada, I needed to spend my night outdoors shooting.  So, saying no to a comfy bed at the local lodge (actually kinda scary, though they had a resident kitty), I dragged my assistant out to make some art (see, I said art, therefore I didn't have to pay her overtime, nice). Anyway, I have to admit I had a lot of fun, and I usually do when I get the chance to just relax and shoot for fun.  Turns out, the company liked them so much that they had prints made and hung in their new welcome center on site.  It feels good.  I liked them as well, and really want to shoot them again without all the snow on the ground.  For the record, the P45+ digital back works great in extreme cold. Cheers.
