When photographing the women's rugby game, I was mesmerised by the overwhelming will to fight, strength, and dedication on one hand, and displays of care and fragility on the other. It was a mixture I had never seen before. I hope my photojournalistic attempt to capture the game conveys these ambivalent emotions.
